Cities Announce Home Ownership Grant Program

Many of the communities in Palo Alto County have established a new grant program for Home Ownership. Individuals in Palo Alto County may be eligible to receive a Home Ownership Grant up to $5,000 to assist with a down-payment, closing costs, etc… when purchasing a home between $26,000 – $100,000 in price within their city limits.

Inspiration for this grant program came from local realtors and lenders working together to identify the needs of individuals as they work through the process of purchasing a home. To lessen the burden of government, this Home Ownership Grant Program is currently funded by the Palo Alto County Gaming and Development Corporation.
